Dr. Chang is a caring specialist who has taken great care of my diabetes, charcot foot, and general health for a year now. I highly reccomend Dr. Chang and his practice here in Tavares.

I'm not frustrated with the doctor I'm frustrated with the office manager and the desk clerk to don't clearly know what they're talking about and how my plan has them as part of my Blue Cross and Blue shield anthem plan recommended doctor in my network but when I call they said they accept it I waited a few days waiting for them to call me back and they don't call back. I finally called back a week later and they claim that they don't accept our insurance even though on my insurance website it claims that they do accept it 😔. Clearly I am overwhelmed with insurance and medical situations of miscommunication trying to find a new doctor for my husband with no results and the people you think are in your network just play around and not give you. I would love to go see the doctor I bet he is amazing and our in home care nurse claims he's the best. But the office manager and desk clerk aren't helpful.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Chang for about 14 years. He is knowledgeable and caring. He also is personable and has a good sense of humor. Whenever we have been hospitalized, Dr Chang has been available and very helpful.
I see other reviews critical of wait time and staff. That has improved over the years. The wait time is normal, and the staff is efficient and caring . The office atmosphere is very pleasant.
We have been very pleased with Dr Chang as our primary care provider.

I could not believe this Drs response to an issue I told him about. “Oops” is the response I got after telling him about an issue that could have been serious. After my appointment I called the office to see what the notes said so that I could actually confirm what I had thought. There were no notes related to the issue I discussed. I felt I actually got nowhere here and immediately told them to close out my chart and that I would not be back.

Dr Chang and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and funny. I have been seeing him for quite some time. When my husband was ill he was very compassionate.

One star is too much to rate this doctor and his staff. They are rude, unhelpful, the doctor's "care" is beyond deplorable, and I would not recommend this doctor to take care of a corpse. Which is what my parents would be if I continued to let these people "practice" medicine on them. DON'T RISK THIS DOCTOR!!!

He is by far one of the most thorough physicians I have ever had. He is kind, caring and goes over everything. The wait is terrible, but because he genuinely goes over everything, takes his time and makes sure to miss nothing, I like him. I don't feel like an assembly line.
