We got here early and they have a lot of new things this year. Their auction items are better than the last year we came and will really be a hit. The people here are always so nice, attentive and helpful. We are praying the possible coming rain doesn't turn away or stop others from coming. There are literally several tons of crawfish to cook in the 2 days this event happens. Lots of booths to buy things are still setting up and Rodney Adkins and Matt Stell are appearing!!

Great festival again in 2024! Crawfish however were way too salty and hard to peel because of that. 2023 had better taste. Next year please get rid of the salt. Rather to eat spicy than salty. See yall next year!!

Had a blast with my pals. Music not too loud, ample parking, plenty of signs on where to go (for us out of towners). Crawfish was good. Only think I might suggest is make sure to let tourists know that its 95% cash only. onsite ATMs worked fine, but with a little more official notice, I would have brought more cash.

Not a whole lot to do. Crawfish was good but the barbecue was a joke. 12 bucks for a plate and it was even close to being a meal. The old ladies running it didnt want to give any food out. My brother got a piece of brisket that wasn't any bigger than his thumb and one little piece of sausage. For my girlfriend it was even worse. Complete rip off. I should of got my money back.

The only other review for the crawfish festival on here is from a person who obviously doesn’t know that this event is put on for charity. “Open your hearts” has been a tagline for the event for years, so do that. Go eat some crawfish, check out some vendors, and hear some good live music. As for the 1 other reviewer leaving 1 star for a charity event, bless your heart sweetie.
