Horrible reception an clinical staff. Not getting ready sent to other doctors, not getting messages to the dr ti call me back as a patient. Hours of calls and miscommunication an not enough experience or compassion on their part!!!! Atrocious, it’s a shame, because I pay out-of-pocket for this doctor that’s how great he is. I’ll wait two hours for my appointment time no matter what however, it is not been a good experience for at least the last few years I’m not having the right staff for him, and the caliber of Dr and quality that he provides!!! My sister used to work with this doctor when he was in Rwj in Somerville, that’s how I found him, that’s how I found one of my other doctors a cardiologist that I also pay out-of-pocket for that’s how excellent they are. However, the cardiology office has great clinical staff, excellent over-the-top, amazing, compassion, understanding, patience, excellence in their service, and highly educated and experienced and what they do. It is a shame. Dr. Nizam does not have the same. I’ve had numerous complaints on the phone, telling him in person to still here we are in 2024 today. I still have major issues major issues that affect appointments with other doctors And providing the best care for me in steps going forward and more 👎🤬🥺😱😠🤯😨😥😭test further that need to be taken !!

I wish I checked reviews about him before going to his office. Like many other patients said, I have
not seen such an incompetent neurologist. He has no time to listen to patients’ concerns, just wanted
to talk about only one issue.
I do not know where he went to medical school and had his training done, but he does an extremely
poor neurological exam prone to missing important information and details that could easily hurt
patients.
He did the neuro exam while I was sitting on a chair fully dressed. He checked touch sensations,
vibratory sensations, muscle power, reflexes, over my shirt, pants, and socks. That is highly
unacceptable. For a detailed neuro first visit, he kicked me out of the room within 20 minutes.
It is a shame on the training program who trained him and the Neurology board who certified him as a
specialist. If there is an option to take a specialist designation back, the Board should consider it after
checking his examination skills and his dealings with patients.
He himself, and his awful rude front staff secretaries, messed up with my MRI script.
Needless to say, I do not have any trust in this doctor and will not follow the advice he gave me. I will
look for another neurologist and would not recommend him to anyone.

I met Dr Nizam yrs ago when I was in the hospital and I felt an instant connection with him. He had professional bedside manner, and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He always showed genuine concern and always treated me with extreme patience and care. Dr Nizam always made me feel good emotionally and physically. He has always done thorough testing and treated me accordingly. He's one of the best Dr's that I have or just period. I would definitely strongly recommend Dr Nizam to anyone that is in search of a neurologist. I'm forever grateful to him for all that he's done to help me.

Dr.Nizam and staff have always been accommodating to my handicapped daughter with epilepsy/LGS/autism/cp,
for years, as for, she isn't the easiest to work with,I truly appreciate the extra effort they put in for her.

Finally I found a good neurologist. I visited multiple neurologist in NYC, all are working like a factory. Nobody examined me half of what Dr Nizam did. Doctor has full patience. Spent enough time to go through my history, tests. Staff in front was kind and polite. Wait time was minimal.

Went in to see this Dr. After many years and it seems to me he had no time to be bothered. I have never had any experience like this before. Patients go to see Drs for a couple of reason.

When I went to see Dr Nizam, i was expecting him to listen to why i was there. Since i was an old pt with my file in front of him, i would think he would ask how i was doing. But rather he listened to my first complain, when i was about to tell him what was going on he told me to hold on. "One at a time"

when finish he didnt want to touch base with the other, telling me to make another appointment to come and see him. I spent less than 30mins with him. I left the office the same way i came.

The only difference is i gave them my money and i got nothing. Smh

Fraudulent, rude, and literally incompetent office staff. Who you can rarely contact as they don’t answer the phone, even during doctors hours (you will be sent to an answering service then never called back). Doctor is fine, but seems to have no idea how absolutely terrible his staff is.

Very helpful doctor and staff! They squeezed me in for a last minute emergency appointment (as a new patient!) and the doctor and staff even scheduled an additional specialist appointment for me. Truly happy with their service and definitely recommend Dr. Nizam!
