This is the historic house of San Clemente's founding father and first mayer. It's a cute Spanish style house with a courtyard, an art gallery, and side gardens. Unfortunately, half of the house is closed off for major renovations after the landslide in 2023, so you can't see the main room and can't walk to the beach. It's quite disappointing so I'd recommend visiting after they are done with the renovation.

Spectacular architectural masterpiece sitting on the orange coast. Great place for events the Foundation holds there or to reserve for private parties. The staff makes every visit very enjoyable as well. Love it here

Absolutely the best spot from where to look at the ocean. Great location for events and a great cultural centers with diverse activities for all ages. Many volunteers contribute to the Casa Romantica events conferring a beautiful vibe to a beautiful place

The Casa is beautifully kept and the gardens are lovely! The volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the casa as well as the history of San Clemente. The views of the ocean were so pretty! We really enjoyed the gardens and the lovely architecture. Great location and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended

As a wedding photographer who has captured several weddings at Casa Romantica over the years, I can say that it is my favorite wedding venue in San Clemente. The historic building is always a joy to photograph and the views, especially at sunset, are amazing.
