I use to love to go every year. It's so hot and dirty. Bring sunscreen and an umbrella. Also some good walking shoes. Not very wheelchair or stroller accessible since it's hilly and your walking on dirt with lots of the shops having small stairs. Artichoke hearts are a must and you can usually get discounted tickets at King Soopers. There are cool little shops but EVERYTHING is just so expensive. After going every year for the last 20 I am however over it.

Came here with my sister-in-law and her three kiddos. We were thinking it was going to be like the Renaissance festival but, I think they need a couple more years of organizing in order to become better.

It's not really kid friendly because there isn't that much for them to experience. There are shops galore, a few shows, Scottish Highland games and craft tables where people can learn how to weave, etc.. The only kid area was a giant pile of mulch and some tree stumps... the kids were kind of bored within the first hour.

The parking was absolutely horrendous and unorganized. After we got buckled in and pulled out of our spot, we sat in a line for 52 minutes before we even cleared the aisle into the actual flow of traffic. All in all, after getting in the car, it took us almost 2 hours to leave the parking lot. They only have 1 entrance with 1 lane to exit and hundreds of vehicles trying to leave. This was hours before the festival was to close.

The people were all super nice but the atmosphere left something to be desired. We hung out and enjoyed watching the games for a bit. I will probably wait a few years before returning so that they can work out all the kinks. This was only their second year so I'm sure it will only get better 🙂

I had no idea this existed! Sure, not as much to do as the Renaissance Festival in Larkspur but still a ton of fun. The vendors weren't pushy, there were free samples. Sword combat, jousting, awesome!

Gosh this might even be better than the Ren Faire! This little gem is easy to get to, easy to walk around, has cheap vendors, great entertainment, plenty of food options, good beer, and super kind folks! Everyone was dressed up and it was a super fun time!

Is a nice place to buy new exotic things and have some fun but the line to get in the parking lot is long very long and everything is kinda pricey but other than that I had fun.

Amazing vibe, amazing costumes (so many people dressed in medieval attire!), great entertainment, and even merchant stalls are authentic and medieval themed. Pure enjoyment!
