Excellent service. Staff was very attentive to our needs.
The room was very clean and quiet.
Parking was not a problem, since I was informed of the cost of parking per day for the duration of my stay.
The only minor inconvenience was lack of service for Starbucks coffee.
My travel mate and I had to readjust travel plans, which meant a shortened stay at this hotel. Despite this change, the staff gave us no hassle.
The hotel location was conveniently close to the highway for ease of access.

Location is good and bad. Good for getting around pretty much anywhere but traffic on decarie is awful most of the day.

Staff were so nice!!

Rooms were clean. Bed is comfy. Sound travels well thru the vents tho. Also seems to be the choice hotel for hockey tournaments (think loud children and drunk parents).

Parking was good and plentiful.

Beautiful hotel, lobby is very clean and spacious. Rooms very clean and comfortable (although hand soap was forgotten to be placed in our room but no biggie as I caught up to the maid and requested one). We had a great stay/experience(did not use the amenities this time around). Location is great as well (easy on and off to the highway) and walking distance to near by stores + subway. uber distance to downtown is not bad nor long!! Would recommend (my friend and I already have our next stay booked!)

We had such a great stay at this hotel. The lobby was very nice. The room was very clean. The staff were extremely friendly. We really enjoyed the few days we spent there. The location is not the best, but there’s a metro station a few minutes away. Definitely recommend!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing Stay — Definitely Not Worth the Price

We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve had. The room was priced at a premium, so we expected at least a decent level of comfort and service—but that’s not what we got.

To start, parking wasn’t included, and we weren’t informed about that ahead of time. We were charged $15 per day for parking, which added up quickly. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and cell phone reception was terrible, making it nearly impossible to get any work done or even check messages. When we mentioned it to the staff, they shrugged it off and blamed the rain.

The hot water was another issue—it took forever to start, and when it finally did, it was barely warm. When we brought it up, the staff simply said, “Well, that’s as hot as it gets.” The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and to top it off, there was a used fake eyelash sitting on the bathroom mat when we arrived.

Breakfast wasn’t included, which was surprising given the room price. The coffee maker only worked occasionally, and there was just one teabag for the entire room. Even small details like that make a difference, and clearly, this hotel didn’t care to get them right.

The location also wasn’t great—traffic around the hotel was always congested, no matter the time of day. And although we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool, the water was a sickly green color, not at all inviting, so we skipped swimming altogether.

Throughout our stay, the staff seemed uninterested in resolving any of our issues. There was no effort to make things right, and overall, the service felt indifferent at best.

We were kind of forced into staying here since the tournament organizers pre-assigned hotels, but if we had the choice, we would never stay here again. If you’re visiting this area, save your money—there are plenty of other hotels nearby that will give you a far better experience for the same or even lower price.

We had a fantastic stay at the Marriott Courtyard Residence Inn on Decarie in Montreal! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette and cozy seating area, which made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to transit and great local dining options. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Montreal—can’t wait to come back!

I don't know how anyone could rate this place less than a 5!!!

I travel quite frequently for work, and this is one if the best if not the best hotels I've ever stayed at for the following reasons:
1) room gets cold 18C(!!!) and is not directly blowing on you. This might seem trivial but most hotel rooms will not go below 20° C (at best), let alone that be the set point and they are constantly blowing semi warm air on you trying to achieve it and never do (even 5 star hotels I've been at don't get this cold).
2) the bed is very comfortable, pillows are perfect, every night I've slept great.
3) the sauna, I repeat the sauna, it absolutely amazing. When I booked I figured, 'okay hotel sauna, uncommon but it probably isn't great' - completely wrong. Sauna goes up to 190, is incredibly clean, plenty of capacity, open until 10pm - win win win.
Other things; rooms are nice, modern. Restaurant is good food but small portions, coffee machine in lobby is broke but coffee can be purchased at bar.

Every time I come to Montreal - I'll be staying here.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Montreal Midtown, and while the room itself was modern and well-furnished, there were several drawbacks that made the overall experience less enjoyable.||Room & Amenities||The room was clean, spacious, and well-designed with a comfortable bed, a sofa, and a large desk for working. The addition of a microwave and mini fridge was convenient for longer stays, and the bathroom had a sleek, modern look with a walk-in shower and well-lit vanity mirror.||Issues with the Bathroom||Unfortunately, the shower was one of the weakest aspects of the stay. The water pressure was very poor, which made showering frustrating and far from refreshing. Additionally, the open shower design caused water to spread onto the bathroom floor, creating a slipping hazard if not careful.||Noise & Comfort||One of the biggest challenges was the noise. The hotel is located near a highway, and emergency vehicles passed by constantly, making it difficult to get a quiet night’s sleep. The soundproofing from both outside and neighboring rooms was minimal, so noise was a constant issue throughout the stay.||Location & Navigation||The hotel shares a building with the Residence Inn, which caused some confusion, especially when parking underground. If you enter from the Residence Inn side, finding your way back to the Courtyard can be inconvenient. Better signage or clearer directions would make a big difference.||Overall Impression||While the hotel room itself was stylish and equipped with essentials like a fridge and microwave, the weak shower, poor noise insulation, and confusing layout connected to the Residence Inn made the stay less enjoyable than expected. For light sleepers or those who prioritize a strong, refreshing shower, this may not be the best option in Montreal.||⭐ Rating: 3/5 – Comfortable and modern, but serious issues with noise, shower design, and overall guest experience.
