I've been a patient of Dr. Davis for about 2 years now. I highly recommend him as a GP. The most important thing he does is listen to his patients. It's great to work with a Dr. that will take the time to listen and understand what's going on with you before he makes a diagnosis or recommendation.

The receptionist are rude and the office doesn’t feel the need to share an important reschedule policy. I am recent graduate who just entered the work force so I haven’t lived in Dallas on a consistent basis in years. Most of my other health professionals have been understanding of this fact. They recorded they contacted me for my appointment 5 times when in fact they had not contacted me until the appointment had been missed. Very dissatisfied with the office etiquette. Dr. Davis himself is not the problem.

After many years of USAF internists, I then used Dr. Weatherford at Baylor who later headed a specialty hospital because he was so talented. In his own way Dr. Davis at Methodist Hospital is a consumate problem solver and diagnostician. As our once mighty V8 becomes a V6 and then transforms into a 4 cylinder, Dr. Davis is along for the ride charting a course, and making sure we are running smoothly and performing as best as we can. The support staff is funny, lively and professional. Davis is mindful of drug costs and allows for patient input. I have never had a doctor give me a choice of medicine before.

Dr.Davis just sent me a letter saying he was going to 86 me as a patient..I know what it's about and it has nothing to do with Dr.Davis..it has to do with his office personnel..one called and left a message on my answering machine that I needed to refill a prescription that was from my HEART doctor..I had refills left and had just picked up a refill..she called it in and said it was ready for pickup..I called her and asked why she did that and she said she was "just doing her job "! The people that work in the offices can do whatever they want and the doctors know nothing about it!!

The reason I gave it 2 stars Dr Davis is a good dr. had been attending him for over 17 yrs or more hated to have to leave due to sorry staff not getting back with me in a timely manner had problems with nurse being rude. I wish him well

My experience with this doctor has been excellent he has taken well good care of me and referred me to the best doctors that he knew and I really thank him because I am now cancer free and I would like to let everyone know that Dr Jerry Davis has really taken care of me for the last 25 years and I thank him very much and God bless him thank you Dr Davis you are an excellent doctor.
