Dr. Urrutia is great with our newborn. When he had an eye infection Dr. Urrutia's team got us an appointment within 30 minutes of calling & prescribed the antibiotics we needed. The receptionists and nurses are kind, courteous and knowledgeable.

Also, I really appreciate that Dr. Urrutia accepts Medicaid, as caring for those with less resources is not always financially beneficial for doctors and medical offices but it is so important to our community.

This review is based on my own experiences at this facility. I’ve been bringing my kids here for about a year now. To start off, I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff here. The front desk has always been helpful and the nurses have always been accommodating to my children. If you treat them with respect and patience they will do the same. This clinic is convenient as it is only minutes from my home and I can usually get an appointment the day of if not the next. The wait time here has been moderate for me and only once have I had to wait more than 30mins to be seen. Now, I wouldn’t say that this next part is “negative” it’s just some things that in my opinion aren’t up to par with other clinics that I’ve taken my children to. This clinic is HEAVILY outdated. While most clinics are running on electronic records this clinic is running it old school with pen and paper(probably the reason why so many reviewers complain about lost records). While most of their medical equipment gets the job done, most of it is also very outdated. To sum it up, the clinic as a whole is outdated. This is only my opinion on Dr. Urrutia and it is based on my experiences with him. Dr. Urrutia is not a “bad” Dr by any means but the man is pushing 80+yrs and sometimes I can hardly understand him because he talks so low. Let’s be honest, I think it’s time to hang up the stethoscope. At his age he shouldn’t be checking children anymore, especially toddlers/infants. The times I’ve brought my toddler here he’s been impatient with him and going as far as to sort of “manhandle” him in a way. I get that toddlers can sometimes be a pain in the behind but as pediatrician you should be able to keep your composure and handle them with care. My other kids have had pretty neutral experiences with Dr. Urrutia, neither good or bad. With that being said, I truly gave this Dr a chance but I was just not fully satisfied with the experience here. If this Dr is convenient for you and you can look past some of the drawbacks that this facility has then by all means keep coming here. Personally I will be looking for another Dr/facility soon. I really wish the best and would like to give thanks to Dr. Urrutia and his staff. ✌🏾

Run away from this place! Used to take my son here for like 2-3 visits and it was enough for me. On his 12m appt the doctor enters the room and asks if he’s 3 month old. Cmon if you can differentiate babys from 3M to 12m maybe you shouldn’t be a doctor. ALSO let’s not mention the fact that the doctor looks like he’s 85+ years old!!!!! My baby took shots there and they can not find records, so now they’re gonna have to take them again!

Dr Urrutia is an amazing pediatrician. He was my pediatrician from birth and also became my daughter's pediatrician. We were both born prematurely and he took his best care of us. I never had to fight with him about any concerns I had with my daughter and each time he gave me his best advice. While I have nothing but good things to say about the doctor himself, I can say that the customer service and overall experience of the clinic has gone down tremendously. All of the newer staff is young and unprofessional and the wait times have become insane. I've learned to call as I am leaving the house to say I am there and most of the time there is still a wait! The rooms are barely cleaned and it always wreaks of lysol like they just spray a bunch in the air after each client. Also they always had my daughter's birthday wrong and each time I said something they would put another wrong birthday. Again, I love Dr Urrutia but I really think he should do something about the rest of the office.

Dr. Urrutia is a great Doctor with a wonderful staff. The reviews are so negative, but I beg to differ. Yes, the wait can be long at times, but that is to be expected when there's only one Dr. taking care of numerous sick patients. Whenever my son gets sick and I call in for a last minute appointment.. they're able to get him in that same day and for that I' am truly grateful.

We been coming here for years. The wait time is unbelievable and unbearable, over an hour wait every single visit. Only to spend 10 minutes to consult with the dr. I will be finding a new pediatrician for my children immediately.

I was able to take my son to get his annual and physical all at the same time, very quickly got seen and stayed there less than an hour so happy, I will be taking my other kids here soon
