We have been to a lot of festivals and unorganized dust bowl would be a more fitting name than anything with the word waters in it. Got there and went to three different lines just to get in and then experienced two car searches and a search on the way in. Upon exiting there were limited gates to get out of. The food vendors were great and the lines were not too long but good luck finding toilet paper anywhere- even on day one. Not to mention $100+ to park. Overall, my least favorite festival.

I'm being generous with the 2 stars. The two stars go towards the artists! They all performed amazingly, especially Bailey Zimmerman. What I didn't like was the dust bowl this took place in. We even got the luxury suites thinking it would be more enjoyable. The suites were crammed full, couldn't comfortably watch the show. The bathrooms were nasty. Too many people. I witnessed fights, puking, a lot of puking! Don't waste your money! I'll never go to this venue again.

Venue itself is good the reason for the 4 stars. The organization of the campgrounds a little off, the security a little over zealous shall we say. Transportation from the bad lands thought a little high, but took it.

I have been to many festivals and this is one of the most mismanaged festivals I’ve ever attended. We spent 3 hours waiting in our vehicle to get in to the venue. People were urinating in the middle of the highway. Security made everyone get out of their vehicles in a dust bowl. Then proceeded to wand and search the entire vehicle. After parking we tried to run because we already missed half of one of the shows we were excited for. Then we had to wait in line AGAIN to get into the venue, where we had another security check with wands. They proceeded to dig through my friends purse not once but TWICE and they were so rude. Then after all of that you have to wait in line to buy drink tickets then wait in another separate line to get drinks. To top it off they threw us out of the venue due to a weather warning right before the headliner. They wouldn’t let you get food or drinks. After over an hour and a half of waiting we finally left. We have a bunch of unused drink tickets we paid for. It was such a joke. Do not pay to go to this festival and be abused by the staff and treated like a criminal.

This event is so poorly managed. It took us over two hours just to enter the grounds, so long in fact numerous people were relieving themselves in the middle of the highway. We were also searched over 3 times, and at one point my purse was searched twice with no explanation, it was an absolute overkill. Then when the lightning started we were rushed outside of the gates and yelled at to wait across the road while it poured rain. Their idea of communicating to the attendees was for us to wait at our vehicles and campers until they were on stage again. Parking was so far away and there was no cell service so we had no idea the headliner went on two hours after they kicked everyone out. Such a disappointment.

I have attended this festival in past years and always had a fun experience. This however was not the case this time. After waiting on the highway for 2.5 hours, having my vehicle searched, and personal belongings confiscated by "security", we had already missed the fist two opening bands. I've never been to a more unorganized, unprofessional festival in my life and I have no plans to ever return. Save your money and time and attend a different festival next year.

No where on the website does it say that all vehicles “will be searched” it says “vehicles are subject to search”.
It doesn’t say about anything about a $50 dollar fee for registration of a firearm, and that each firearm if you have one in your vehicle. Good thing I was close to a friends house in willow creek to drop mine off.
I would’ve hated to have driven from Billings or Helena or somewhere else in Montana to have had to pay a extra $50 fee for just being a regular Montanan, then feel like a criminal and have my vehicle searched like I was crossing the border or living in California. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
They need to have a better explanation of this on their website to let you know your vehicle will be thoroughly searched and a $50 fee will be charged for each firearm declared in your vehicle, and will be searched again after.
Montana doesn’t feel like Montana anymore, be forwarded.

Not a huge fan. First of all information on the website wasn’t correct. Said concerts started at certain times and they didn’t at all. No signage at all hardly for parking, entry etc. clearly the workers were miserable and not real friendly (besides the guy frisking people at front gates lol he was great). Got inside with my daughter and the gal swore my daughters I.D. Was fake. No scanners to test etc. instead she made us walk all the way back out to the car to get her Costco card and prove it was her. Even tho our names matched I had all her info etc. then the card readers were done so you had to use an atm that charged you SOX dollars each transaction. Just doesn’t seem very organized. Water was $5 a bottle. When is 90 degrees out charge $1 and keep
People hydrated. Prolly won’t be back. I’ve been to ten different festivals and over 100 concerts. Great lineup but terribly put together.
