Kaustinen Folk Music Festival

Interesting festival with good atmosphere. Concerts and events for all kind of people. Dance, sing, workshops etc.they have everything the whole week. Only bad side is that everything goes expensive, so you better be prepared with your wallet. One suggestive improvment would be to think better way to house the caravan or car housing where musicians with cars don’t have to drive all the time. Perhaps somebody would like to sleep in their. Another side are the reusable drink cups and eating plates like they have in Estonian, Viljandi Folk festival, where every guest is responsible for the reusability of the eating and drinking. Think it as a more sustainable way of enjoying the festival.

Awesome festival if you want to be around a lot of great music and musicians.

I must go back!! Amazing music; all day, all over the place. There are so many different traditions from the performances to the food vendors that it's impossible not to feel included. Much love

An amazing experience to be sure! There is music going on all over the event constantly so you will never run out of venues to see! I had so much fun and also loved the food, history and culture of the area! Most importantly of all, I felt very welcome.
