Larry Joe Taylor music fest is quite possibly the most fun I have ever had at a festival. Me and my wife love camping, country music and drinking beer, this is the best combination. The camping is very close to the stage and you can bring your own beer! Last year was our first time but it is definitely a yearly trip now and we have been counting down till April.

I worked on Nov 1. 2024 as 1 of many armed security officers -Viking Executive Protection Security LLC has Never PAID. I was promised payment for working the Treaty Oak Revival event Nov. 1, 2024 and to be paid on Nov.8, 2024...The artists that performed did a great job, the ranch was large and beautiful.. B.B.Q. fantastic..The Viking Executive Protective Solutions LLC. owes me $25.00 hr. (9.5 hours) hours (3 weeks late, $35.00 fuel stipend=$$$)..Roy Smith, states "You will get paid" but still no money.. 3 weeks later.. No Money...I know Melody Mountain Ranch PAYS their people !! But contracted security owner Roy Smith /VEPS... who did not pay his officers, for their services rendered....LJT has phenomenal events..LJT, are you really going to do business with someone who does not pay his officers...

When u talk about a hot fail it was last night's show (treaty oak revival) nov 1st.

Fail on getting everyone(missed the first 2 bands) in the door and then u guys used mobile tickets....no service once u get down the road to the venue so they really dropped the ball on that one. I saw hundreds of ppl leave just on the sole fact of yalls incompetence on that one. To wait in line to get a beer would have took the whole set to treaty oak hahaha.
From someone who's been in west tx 15 + years and seen treaty oak since they were playing churches and charity events. DO BETTER NEXT TIME!

Best place to listen to Texas country favorites and enjoy a week off with friends. Good food. People come from all over and nice to make new friends.

We had a great time listening to the semi-finalists for the songwriters competition. No cover charge, drinks were very reasonably priced, restrooms were clean. The only complaint I have is that there were only a few low tables and I have a bad back so high tables aren't really an option for me.
