This was the first year I attended the Queensferry Renaissance Festival. To be honest, I had no idea a renaissance festival was even held In Vinita, OK until I came across the events page of Facebook showcasing it was happening.

My child and I dressed up as pirates and we were soo glad we went. The people were wonderful. It was great seeing other pirates and various people dressed up in their renaissance attire. There was a great selection of merchants who attended and all were pleasant. We enjoyed visiting the different campsites, talking with the groups and even taking photos.

I absolutely love how family-friendly everyone was. Although, there was a bar area and an adult tent, there was still plenty to do for the children. My child personally enjoyed being sent on a quest and it gave him something to look forward to. But for those who were without kids, you could tell they were definitely enjoying themselves and having a great time as well.

Overall, the entire atmosphere of the Queensferry Renaissance Festival was very welcoming and pleasant. It really felt as if you were stepping back in time to a land of peace and wonder. I look forward to attending again and hopefully bringing more people along. 10/10 recommend.

I went on the Saturday, it was cold and windy. The Vikings next to the water were very friendly and let us warm up next to their fire. They were making lunch and cooked it over the fire. Great fun, we will be back !!!

I love the people who bring this event. For children & adults, it's a learning experience along with a fun day filled with booths of vendors wares, things for children and adults to do too. Great place to get away from the daily grind & learn about history.

Great music! Right beside the water and not wheelchair friendly, but then these festivals never are. It's one of the smaller ones but don't let that stop you from going.
