Dr. Hassan recently performed my surgery, and I can say that he is one of the best Drs’ I have had the chance to receive medical care from. I had a very good experience under his care, and I certainly recommend him. He is an outstanding surgeon as he exceeded my expectations in many occasions. From the time I consulted with him, he was very personable and took the time to understand my medical needs. He thoroughly assessed my situation and listened to my concerns. He was directly involved in getting me scheduled for surgery as soon as possible, and he followed up with my primary care physician. I must also mention his nurse who was also very pleasant and very helpful in making sure I received all the information I needed.
In addition, on the day of my procedure, Dr. Hassan kept my daughter informed of my progress which helped keep her at ease. He was also very thorough during the follow-up visit, making sure that I was healing properly. While I do not wish for anyone to have to go under the knife, if it is necessary for them to do so, I recommend that they reach out to Dr. Hassan.

On Aug 5, 2021, I had gall bladder surgery. I hadn't been to Herman Mem. Hosp before, so I wouldn't know who my surgeon would be. God saw fit to have Dr. Saif Hassan as my surgeon. Wearing a mask, I couldn't see anything but his eyes. But his eyes showed me that he was friendly and caring. After the surgery, he came to check on me. I was so relieved I was blessed with this Dr. Hassan. His coming to see me, told me that he thought of me not only as a patient but as person. I had my follow-up yesterday, August 19 with Dr. Hassan. He told me every step he took in my surgery. He also took time to tell me how the gall bladder functions in our bodies. I asked him if the gall bladder can grow back, he laughed and said, "no." I told him if it did grow back, I'd want him to be the one to take it out again. My hospital stay, even though I had to have surgery, was a pleasant one. Knowing I was given the best care, from the food server to the surgeon, helped me thru a scary situation. Thank you Dr. Hassan for being my surgeon.

Dr. Hassan performed robotic surgery on me on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. It was a hernia repair, and I am 83. I must tell you that he did a beautiful job, three one inch incisions, and I was out and about the following week. I was off pain medication three days after surgery. When I went to see him pre- and two weeks after the surgery, one would have thought I was the only patient he had both times. He listens and is very professional and caring.

Dr Hassan's office was very professional. I was greeted at check in, filled out a few forms and got called in very quickly. The Dr had great bedside manners as did his nurse.
