They have done landscaping work for the housing development I live in and their work is less than professional. Instead of using shovels to dig holes for drainage boxes they were installing, their crew literally sat there trying to dig half-dug holes with rocks. I was shocked when I saw this but figured if it looks good, then it's none of my business how they do it. Sadly they look as bad as it sounds like it would. After I brought it to their attention, they have been giving me the runaround for months. And instead of fixing it, they have doubled down that it is how it should look... uneven, unlevel, and unsafe. If you're looking at hiring them, think twice unless you want to have to fix their mistakes yourself.

*I've also included photos of the bushes that they kept cutting down to little nubs which would then burn in the heat and the trees they "trimmed" but instead of just cutting out dead branches, they made the trees look disformed/overcut and left dead branches while cutting good ones.

This company was supposed to remove some silt from my backyard due to the negligence of a home builder contractor foreman and instead mixed the silt back into the soil and this is not what was supposed to happen and I realized it's not this company's fault that that for men didn't want to pay to replace the soil however we did not want the silt mixed back into the soil but they did it anyway. There was extensive damage to our yard because of this flood and now the next plan is to seed this area and without properly preparing this soil. Hi Grant that the Foreman who made the initial mistake and failing to manage the flood water in the first place is the one signing your check and I specifically stated that I wanted all the clay removed and all you did was mix it back into the ground which means if and when you bring some seed out here it's not going to grow we're germinate as it should. I tried to call every phone number I could sign for your company and every number is non-working.

I have worked with SOI for several years. They have provided consistently excellent service for regular maintenance as well as design services. They are very responsive when we have an emergency, whether it's an irrigation issue or storm debris clean up. They are a pleasure to work with!
