I attended the Farm to Flame dinner, July 5th. This is my third Old Red Barn experience and I have to say, they knock it out of the park every time! The moment you arrive you are welcomed into such a beautiful setting. Each course carefully explained and you see the passion the team have for fresh local food. The food was, as always amazing! The service top notch and the wonderful people we met along the way. We had family visiting from Ireland so it was good to show them what Alberta has to offer. A great experience all round and will most certainly be back. Thank you Old Red Barn team.

Absolutely amazing venue. Amazing staff, amazing recommended vendors. Matt goes above and beyond to ensure everything comes together for the perfect night. Biggest Pros - signature cocktails were a HIT, even without alcohol were amazing. Matt crafts them himself with homemade ingredients AMAZING. - photos were done on site, the property is so beautiful we didn't leave all day. - even though we had a little rain in the evening the two floors of the barn and cover for the bar downstairs was still an amazing night. - Matt ended the night with an acoustic serenade for us, it was like having a second "first dance" it was amazing. - Matt worked with us and the vendors to ensure everything went perfectly. Can't say enough good things, all of our guests LOVED everything about our wedding.

We attended a Farm to Table event and got to experience the creative talent of the head Chef Tyson Wright. My taste buds were taken to a new level! Matthew and Melissa, every server and every chef were absolutely lovely! The Big Red Barn is authentic yet has a charming ambiance with antique dishes and stunning chandeliers. The local farms provided the most delicious, real, home grown food I haven’t had for decades. Well done team, well done!!

This was our fourth year attending a Farm to Flame event at the Old Red Barn. Warm, welcoming and attentive hosts and staff, as always, and a lovely venue. Appreciated the reduced ticket pricing this year as it was creeping a bit out of range (and wasn’t put out with the elimination of the complimentary welcome drink this year to make the reduction feasible). The new garden-side course was a treat as was the trusty fire-side starter. Where it went a bit odd for us in our experience was the new bread course and vegetable course added this year - both great things, just serve it with the main course. I’ll be honest with you, the dessert course left a lot to be desired - it was not good. All-in-all, 4 out of 5 stars for this year's experience.

A perfect event- Delicious food, proper proportions, perfect appointment and excellent, professional service. Our server is a school teacher who worked the event as a server, for the experience. She made me and our group feel important. The venue was the loft of a barn reconfigured to host catered events. It was immaculate and had a homey atmosphere. Overall, the event was wonderful and my wife and I look forward to attending the next event..
