I took my daughter to see John Lennon - Through the Glass Onion. As soon as the first song started we knew we were going to LOVE it!! The 2 men staring in this show are amazing. Very talented, and entertaining. The 90 minute show flew by. I still don't understand why the people in the audience do not applaud after each song. Rude I guess, or maybe they think they can do better. (which would be impossible!)
I would recommend this show to everyone. My daughter and I are both Beatles and Lennon lovers and where not disappointed at all!! AWESOME SHOW!! Thank you John Waters and Stewart D'Arrietta for a wonderful mother/daughter night out. And for your endearing biography of our beloved John Lennon.

This is a quaint old theater, with all the pluses and minuses that implies. It's charming and small so no seat is too far from the stage, and all the sight lines are good. The architecture is interesting and the decor attractive. Back when this theater was built, though, humans were four feet tall and weighed sixty pounds. You will become intimately acquainted with your neighbor's jacket and most probably his/her body temperature and arm hair.

I must say upon buying tickets for my friends birthday party I really wasn't expecting much. Being a straight male, I thought that I wouldn't like it due to the half naked men dancing around but I was wrong.

The show was great, It was like watching a circus with some of the best street performers I've ever seen. It starts off with a singing puppet (which was actually amazing) turns into two men balancing on one another, a girl doing hula hoops, a juggler with an uncanny sense of humor, and the show goes on and on. The colors, the smoke, the ambiance.... everything was amazing.

I suggest going in, getting your free popcorn and seeing this show. It's worth it!

La Soiree is just an A-MAzing show! There are not enough descriptive words to do it justice! From the opening act to the final bow, it's nonstop action! It is like Cirque du Soleil gave a "very special hug" to an underground cabaret/vaudeville show and this was the result!

The British chaps are just fantastic, the hula-hoop/jump rope chick is awesome, and the handkerchief lady has got to be seen to be believed! The bathtub and lamp post boys are so easy on the eyes, what they do is just an added bonus! Just all around enjoyable from start to finish!

I saw the show on New Years Eve and didn't have a problem getting tickets. The show is well worth the $49 for a mezzanine seat as there is really not a bad seat in the house since it is "theater in the round" style seating. Though the view can be somewhat obstructed unless you sit forward in your seat in the first row. If you are in the Mezzanine and want a drink from the bar, you will have to walk down or wait for a vendor with cans of what I am guessing was beer. However, they do have a short intermission to run to the restroom or freshen your drink.

It is general admission seating, which I was not a fan of since I was the first person there for the 9pm show on New Years Eve, but because they do 30mins of lobby time so you can buy drinks at the bar, people starting lining up at the stairs and then literally "one upping" one another until we literally were elbowing each other at the top of the stairs. My suggestion to management would be if you are going to seat Southwest Airlines cow-herding style, then at least have some method to the madness because it honestly got very cutthroat for those coveted front row seats!

Other than that, I had a great time! They even cleared the dance floor and put up a DJ so that people could ring in the New Year after the show ended at 11pm!

Came here to see 39 Steps. An old theater, and the age shows in the common area (lobby is dim and cold, and some areas are a but untidy). That said, it does exude an old time charm. The seats are quite spacious with decent leg room, and all seats have a clear view of the stage (no obstruction).

Restroom Watch: both men and women restrooms are in the basement. Go early. The stairs were really backed up during intermission.

Union square theater is very small and very intimate. I went there to see "Glass Onion:John Lennon Story". The theater was very cold being that they had the outside doors open. The play was really good but I wouldn't run back to this theater

This theater is one of the biggest in Lower Manhattan and they have mostly the latest films here. There are about 12 theaters inside so I rarely have issues getting a seat. It does get sold out on the weekends quite often so make sure you come early to get your tickets or buy them online in advance!

They use reclined seats here so they are quite comfortable. I just wish ticket prices are cheaper!

I went here to watch La Soiree. Intimate experience, and first come first serve when it comes to seating. Get there early so you can sit in the front. The seats are very makeshift. Think plastic/metal foldable chairs gathered around a stage, so don't be late as it gets hard to see when the lights dim.
