Superbe soirée. Personnel est incroyable qui nous ont fait découvrir de belles choses. Très belle carte de vin. Nous aurions aimé goûter à tout ce qu'il y avait sur le menu. Un bijou à découvrir.

The service was amazing!!
Our waiter was super nice, explained the whole menu, let us sample 2 wines, made a excellent cheese choice for us, and was very attentive while not being overly so.
The atmosphere was cozy even when it started to get busy.
The food was amazing!!
The drinks were so good!

I’m editing my initial review, due to my second expense here. Leaving my original review at the bottom of this thread.

I brought my out-of-town friend here since my first visit was so great. BUT, this second time had some hiccups.
First, the positive: Tristan was very accommodating when I called to say we were running behind. Our server (can’t recall her name, but she’s the young, blonde lady) was great both times I had her. She was knowledgeable about the wine and made some great recommendations. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. My favorite is the Tri-tip risotto and the scallops. Well-balanced on flavor, rich, and good-sized portions for the entrees.
Now, the needed improvements: whoever the dark-haired female hostess is needs an attitude adjustment. Upon arriving, my friends and I said hello, and she was stone-faced the entire time, very cold and unwelcoming. She then tried to sit us at a table that was crammed into a corner, and tried to take chairs from a neighboring table that was already sat with patrons. They were expecting more guests and told her to not take the chair. Frustrated, she just turned around and put us at a table that wasn’t ideal for our party. We agreed to sit there anyway, even though there was plenty of other open seating. Second, the charcuterie board my friend custom-ordered was dismal with the servings of cheeses and meats. There was plenty of bread and crackers, but only three pieces of prosciutto and 9 pieces of salami. There were four of us eating, and it didn’t go far at all. We did still order salad and entrees, but for the amount of money we spent, it didn’t justify what we received in apps.
Overall, I still like this place, mainly because of the atmosphere and the adorable food server we had.
Will try again.

I came to this restaurant with a friend of mine on a Wednesday. It was very slow, which was great for us, because the service was outstanding!

We decided to order the grilled artichoke appetizer, and also the baked Brie with fig. We requested gluten free bread, to which they accommodated nicely. The lemon butter, on the artichoke appetizer was rich and tangy, and the artichoke was perfectly cooked. The brie and fig with bread was absolutely delicious! They both were so good, I forgot to take pics of them, oops!

We ordered the Obsidian Cabernet Sauvignon, and it paired well with everything.

For dinner I ordered the Tagliatelle Frutti Di Mare. It had generous servings of scallops, shrimp, squid, in a light sauce with perfectly cooked house-made pasta. My friend orders the short rib risotto, which was divine! Rich flavors and extra tender meat made this dish an absolute favorite.

Finally, the pumpkin spice cheesecake for dessert was a terrific final touch. It was light, fluffy, and gluten free.

The atmosphere is a laid-back, modern, lounge-y type place with perfectly set music. We will definitely be coming back for more!

I’m such a fan of Vine & Wheel - fell in love 2 years ago on a trip from Canada and insist on coming back each visit. Extensive and fun wine list with a lovely team that are the most welcoming. Bianca was amazing, helping us choose a wine flight and providing background on the wineries and wines. Bianca clarifying the best Riesling choice for my style was the most helpful! When exploring Colorado with a friend, Vine & Wheel is the first place that comes to mind when visiting and I’m the most comfortable here. A must visit!

Delicious appetizer, mains, and dessert. Large and great wine list, menu has pairing recommendations for all food choices.

My only negative would be the volume is a few clicks too loud.

We had the short rib toast, NY Strip (6 oz only), short rib risotto, and toffee cake.

Update:
I recently had a beef short rib dish in South Carolina and it reminds how delicious this short rib risotto was from Vine & Wheel

I'm just now seeing other reviews about wine flights...I didn't notice that option on the menu and wish our bartender had mentioned it. We love wine flights.

The place was completely empty around 7pm. They said it never really gets busy, so you'll never have to wait for a table. Dark and romantic atmosphere. Food is awesome. Wine is good, though pricey. Wish our bartender was more engaging.
