Dr. Wagner was great at answering all my questions prior to my ulnar nerve transposition surgery, he was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of before and after my surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a experienced orthopedic surgeon that’s patient and takes the time to explain things in a detailed way that makes sense

I had a Surgical procedure from Dr. Wagner about 11 years ago. Although knowledgeable and a nice guy, the Surgical procedure did not help whatsoever.
I understand medical is not an exact Science, after the failed surgery, Dr. Wagner said in arrogance, " it's not my fault, the odds were 80% to 20%"!! Looks like you were the 20%, I did nothing wrong!!!
Had those odds been presented to Me prior to surgery I would've respectfully declined.
This was my experience with Dr. Wagner.
Respectfully...

Dr. Wagner has always been professional and helpful, from releasing carpal tunnel to pinning together a spiral fracture under my ring finger ( also removing the plate and 9 pins a few years later). If I could give 10 stars I would.

In 2018 when I went to Dr. Wagner, I learned that the reason why my wrists hurt so much was due to the cartilage being nearly worn out from having lived a very active and physical life. The solution seemed extreme which was to remove one wrist bone and fuse 4-5 others. I was fore-warned that the only real loss of motion that I would experience would be that I could not flatten my hand back like a person carrying a tray over his head or while doing push-ups. To alleviate the discomfort, it seemed like a reasonable concession. In 2018 I went through with the procedure on my right wrist. It healed up very well, never hurts, my hand is strong and very capable-and, yes, as I was guided to understand, to do pushups I have to use barbells on the floor. Interestingly enough, my golf swing had to be shortened to accommodate for the fact that my hand will not flatten out-but, I now have much better control of where the ball is going. Summary-the aging process can be fraught with very debilitating stuff, but, Dr. Wagner helped this old guy get through it very well...left wrist is next.
